Angus on the Ridge was painted for the cause, Preserving Connecticut Farms, Laurel Ridge Farm in Litchfield, Connecticut is part of the Connecticut Farmland Trust, and host for the fund-raising event in 2010. The spring pasture was very green, and the hills had touches of pink and grey. The windmill is a landmark for the site. Black angus cows grazing on the rich green grass.k
